Programs

GrandMother NatureThe goal of all of GrandMother Nature’s programs is to encourage the development of a child’s natural wonder. The aims are to encourage socialization and an intermingling in a natural setting; enrich knowledge of local flora and fauna; to inculcate a relationship of connection, care and concern for our surroundings, and to help stimulate and develop critical thinking skills.  The benefits derived from such programming include building self-esteem, encouraging creativity, development of fine motor co-ordination, support for self-expression as well as promoting an acceptance of others.

To see a schedule of upcoming programs by GrandMother Nature as well as Pleasant Aerie, check the web calendar. To watch a video interview explaining GrandMother Nature's approach to storytelling, visit the about page.
